Special strike on burnished blank (PROOF): the fields are mirrored and the reliefs slightly matte in contrast. Smooth edge. Small bag marks and slight handling marks with micro-impacts in the fields and on the reliefs. Slight flats on the high reliefs (on the zygomatic arch, top of the laurel leaves, end of the ribbon) and scratches on the reverse. However, a beautiful appearance with most of the original gloss, barely burnished, and no major flaws. Very rare, with only a few known examples! Superb at Fleur de coin.
